| Road to Stade de France |
It was close to 4.30 am and Amar and I was just finishing our customary game before joining Muiz in his forte.When we arrived, the game just started.Yes, ARSENAL VS jUVENTUS.
The players was just getting ready to get into the pitch and we saw the return of our legend,Patrick Viera to the Highbury field.We would expect a spectacular performances from both teams.
The game was tight and Juventus looked uncomfortable playing in the small field and Arsenal was controlling the game with close passing and smooth control.As usual Henry and Gilberto looked 'malas' as usual with 'nak tak nak passing' with Hleb incomplete passes made us biting our nails and pulling our hair off.It was a nightmare watching them lose possesion so easily.But among those players we can still see how our favourite player FABREGAS shine with his visionary passes.
Our faith was rewarded,in the 40th minutes,
The quick pass from Pires to Henry set the move in motion and he passed the ball swiftly on to Fabregas.The Spaniard took a touch and then twisted clear of defender Lilian Thuram before pulling a low shot into the bottom corner of the net.
We jumped with joy watching the goal.Shit. that was a relief.
In the second half,another goal came and again Fabregas was involved,
It was Hleb who launched another attack from midfield, this time finding Fabregas who had raced forward untracked.Fabregas shaped to shoot as though he was going to hit the ball first time but then squared the ball to Henry in front of goal.The pass lobbed a fraction behind the Frenchman but he reached back with his right foot, controlled it neatly and swivelled to fire it into the net.
In the end,it was 2-0 the final score and suddenly the day felt just great and I went back home sleeping soundly until I missed my class.Damn!Takpela janji Arsenal menang!YEAY!
