Im sad and speechless really...
My love had gone down, but with pride..
isk isk isk...cant remember the last time where i'd been this disappointed.. arsenal have been an
my absolute joy for the most of my life..when everybody else goes out on a date or a movie, i sit on the couch watching and supporting every single minute of arsenal games..i really enjoyed the wins, and really sucked in the losses..next morning i'd read them on the internet and if i missed the games, i'll download the highlights of the goals..it's just so pleasing to watch the arsenal play, anybody who loves football must admit this..and i stress again, must!!!....that's why i love arsenal, they never fail to entertain more often than not..
to be in our 1st ever final of champions league after years and years of trying and lost is a bitter pil to swallow,.
mind you, it's not a stroll in the park to reach the final..after a young and exciting yet brave team gave their all, arsenal eventually lost.. it's hard to take when my beloved arsenal had to play with 10 men, led at one point, and beaten at the closing stage.. it's like watching ur own child, helplessly injured, but still trying to get to the finishing line..it's like a scene of sapok biki beating the hell out of a handicapped man..painful is the word to describe it..i think it's less painful not to qualify for the knockout stage than losing in the final in such manner..
isk isk isk..i really felt for some of the players...i really felt for
pires who played his last game (90% confirmed) for arsenal, but was short lived after lehmann got sent off.. he looked despaired and speechless on the bench, almost numb..it really broke my heart seing such a great servant to arsenal being in a condition like that..gosh i dont wanna be in that position ever..really felt for
henry after all he'd done up to the final... he was covering the final 3rd of the field by himself!!! and thierry, i dont blame u for the missed chances..plus this could as well be his last game in arsenal shirt..and the thought of him leaving arsenal next season is just unbearable for me..henry please2 stay..i felt for
monsiuer wenger whose ten years of brilliant work was marked by this defeat..you're still the best!!...and to the other senior players,
ashley, gilberto, freddie, campbell i felt for them too..to the young guns, they did brilliantly, but i reckon they wouldn't be as disappointed as those who were there right from chapter 1..for them, it's still an exciting begining of a great journey..good luck to
eboue, cesc, kolo, reyes, van persie, hleb, walcott..(most of them are younger than i am) but hey, there's life after highbury, emirates here we come!!!
anyways, i wanna
congratulate barcelona for the win.. they deserved it..dont wanna discard that they're a good team, a great team in fact, but it would have been nicer to see 11 of us againts 11 of them..even if we'd lost with 11 men, im sure it's much less painful than this.. for arsenal, im speechless..i dont wanna say 'we lost because of..', 'we should have..'...i just have to adknowledge the fact that we lost.. that's what matters after all..really i couldn't think of anything to be disappointed of besides the fact that we lost! not just a game, a cup final!!! a european cup!! (of course i could blame almunia for conceding 2 goals at the near post, c'mon keeper! no conceding at the near post!!!) but hey, it's a gallant effort by the gunners and no one can deny that they did their best.
.i, Muhammad Amar Amdan, hereby pledge myself publicly to be a gooner for life...i love you arsenal!! i do!! i love you arsenal!! i do!! i love you arsenal!! i do!! ooooh arsenal i love you!!
