| What ACTUALLY happened.. |
Assalamualaikum,
careful arsenal fans, dont get too cocky too soon (amar amdan, 2008)
as per my previous entry, i offered some predictions of the Arsenal MU game.. and thank god i was wrong!!
an awesome match.. both sides were up for it.. (but not ronaldo, hehe)..i must say, we always do good with 4-5-1.. altho in this match bendtner was a bit isolated, but he did enough..performer of the day will definitely go to denilson.. he's more accustomed to his role now as the holding midfielder.. he was not the typical robust and combative type, but he did cover all the spaces and win posession quite impressively..maybe arsene should just stick to this formation even when adebayor and van persie is available.. it gives more coverage in midfield wihtout compromising the attacks, we all know well about arsenal's potential to score from midfield, so better make use of this.. this 4-5-1 might be the secret weapon arsene might wanna keep hold til the end of the season, i seriously think we could go into every game with this..
defensively we could have done better as a team tho.. rooney n ronaldo each had a clear chance..on another day, it could've been a totally different story.. having said that, if bendtner was more lethal in front of goal, the scoreline would be different as well.. but i was delighted with the end result.. i was surprused really at how we played..this goes to show that different opponents need different approaches.. the fact that man u played positively, opened up their defence.. i really think that even we'd played like this against stoke, it wouldn't have made any much difference.. u have to battle against teams like this, battle physically and tactically..
oh ye.. one more thing, i think wenger made a mistake by bringing on kolo toure and alexander song during the last 10 mins.. i just think that changing the team at 2-0 up against man u, is a bit risky.. what i think he should've done is ask walcott and nasri to be more discipline and keep the ball as much as possible.. bringing in song and toure not only changed the shape of the team, but put the team in defensive mode immediatley.. this will give the impression to the team that they just need to sitback and absorb all the pressure, which i dont think worked, as we conceded a late goal..at that time i seriously had a feeling it's going to be spurs once again..so next time only when we're 3-0 up ah ok..

| The day Obama won.. |
Assalamualaikum,
First up, Arsenal.. draw spurs, lost to stoke and yet another draw with fenerbache at home.. let's not look at the results per se, i tend to worry more on the performance.. looked solid at the back, average in midfield if not poor, very poor in the attacking dept.. most notably Nicklas 'what's up with the hair' Bendtner.. im always annoyed at players chewing gum while playing (badly), as what Mr Bendtner did the whole of 60 minutes he was on the pitch.. the last time where i've enjoyed such sight was watching Cafu (stamina kuda)..'lose the gum please and concentrate on first touch!' i would shout in his face if i have the chance..Cesc, haaaaih..i heard the commentators saying 'cesc lost the ball, very unlikely of him'.. but when u hear that more than 5 times in a game, u know there's something wrong cesc..
Oh speaking of commentators, this is very funny.. the other day i was watching a spaninsh la liga game.. i dunno why, but they insist on getting commentators with the funniest voice! not to mention the spanish accent as well, maybe they're just annoyed at the english who cant pronounce their names correctly.. but anyways, hahahah.. this is really funny, so i was watching, and the game was a high tempo one, u could sense it by the tone of the commentator's high-pitched voice..haha.. and in the midst of excitement the brilliant commentator shouted 'oh fernandes was screaming at the ref, as he did not get the free kick, that is why he is so pissed off!'..and followed by a brief silence (probably being told off by the producer)..hahahaha.. i was like "bodoh!" hahahaha.. i dont know whether 'pissed' is considered as too offensive for tv or not.. but i am pretty sure that there are tonnes of ways to describe someone's anger besides 'pissed off'..hahahaha..good fun lah.. u guys should try watching these games sometime, i bet u'd find at least 5 occasions to laugh ur ass off in a game..kudos to spanish la liga for those excessive replays of skills and for picking up hispanic gangsters off the street to commentate..
Back to arsenal, Man Utd coming up, and i must admit, my confidence towards the legendary clash is at its all time low..
here's what i hope to happen - Arsenal come into the game as underdogs, which makes man u overconfident, ronaldo puts extra gell on his hair to signal that he's in the mood.. walcott fit to play.. carlos vela or perhaps ramsey would be given a surprsie start (just throw em' in a ring Arsene!), bendtner dropped to the bench and continues chewing gum..arsenal contains pressure from man u most part of the game, but against run of play, scored a goal from walcott's brilliant individual effort.. and when man u are trying to level the game, arsenal simply counter attack and score another from whoelse, walcott again!..eventual 2-0 winner..
here's what's really gonna happen - Arsenal come into the game as underdogs, which doesn't really affect man u.. will not change Ronaldo's hair..walcott deemed not fit.. wenger will opt to play diaby.. who will play out of position and eventually plays like shit..and yes bendtner will lead the attack and have a gum chewed in his mouth the entire game..arsenal maintains 70% of posession but only 1 shot on target.. and surprise2, ronaldo scores, surprise2 from a corner, surprise2 using his head..arsenal push on so hard (making stupid silly mistakes at the same time).. and ended the game with 10 men, i put my money on Bendtner getting the marching order.. (please let me be wrong, oh please..) final score Arsenal 0 - 1 Man Utd..
lastly, kepada Mapen, dont play with fireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...hahaha.. aku dah bilang.. |
