oi!

Finally I started playing soccer today.Nearly 5 weeks I was out of action.My boot was tight or maybe my foot expand?dunno but it felt so good just to have a kick at the ball.But precautions are taken with bandages all around my knee(mcm buat tampang tut,remember the subejct anyone??) .Aku pon nak gi selection gak.Mari kite maen slow2 kawan2ku.May God grant thee the power to kick some arse!

Sleeping after a heavy meal is just great.menggemokkan tapi best.In sleep,I dreamt of standing in a sports hall(gym?courts?yg pasti bukan UQ sports ok) and watching other people playing their sports.I think at that time everybody was playing badminton.there's a quite a few courts inside there.Suddenly there was Helmi,Najwa and another girl(mystery girl[mg] again...dlm mimpi mesti adenye!).They straight set up a court and played badminton and asked me to join them.I joined them for a while before we took a short break.while resting,the mg approached me and asked me if I would like to play some tennis after this and without thinking,I agreed although I remembered that I have a knee injury(sepatuntye aku x kesah ah kan,sbb mimpi!tapi aku x sedar la aku mimpi).Before we took off from the place,suddenly there came this group of people(unknown) and magically(mimpi kena ahh ade magik nye),inside the sports hall,there were already arranged chairs and tables.Apparently there were having a meeting there.Without calling out or any announcements,everybody inside the gym sat down on the chairs like diciplined people in silence.I was puzzled at first but willingly,I also sat down,ready to listen to them.I asked around and it turns out they were people representing MASCA and immediately I imagined the pathetic and annoying looking Jasmine whose almost cost the team the chance going to Sydney(tapi aku rasa x nampak Jasmine kat depan).I didn't remember any nonsense of what they were preaching in front but the longer they talked, the more pissed I got until it really got on my nerves.Conveniently,there was a soccer ball (mcm tau2 je ape aku nak buat)rolling around near me.I took the ball and gave a precise volley shot(tak sakit lak lutut aku) directly to the face of the person who's speaking in front.His nose bled and everybody was running out(I assume the meeting was adjourned because of my action).I slipped out among the crowd and managed to get outside.I tried finding Najwa,Helmi and the mg but they was nowhere to be seen.Woke up and wrote about the dream.I really2 want to remember my dreams because we tend to forget about them.Interesting how the mg really resembles my first crush!wahhh aku nak jiwang malam nih...mari layan rock kapak.oh yeah!

Once again the unconventional 3-5-2 was applied, and proved to be another success story..Just as we thaught, it would be very different from the Brunei game, as the Lions have a significant physical advantage.. If there's one thing that we learnt from this game, it would be, 'in football, it takes more than just physical prowess to play the game..' Despite all the shortcomings especially in terms of size, we showed one strength that we have, and to me, this is why we won..CHARACTER..

We were nervous at the start as the Lions were roaring from the very first minute.. The defence as usual, did a brilliant job to contain the flows of their attacks.. A good job by a debutant of this week, Izmir (in defence)..

Singapore opened the goal feast from a set piece situation (oh yee.. diorang poyo nak mampus, asal kick off je, ingat nak shoot, nak je tepuk dahi diorang..!) They got a free kick 35 yards from the goal.. The guy wearing number 10 for them stood up and sent a curling ball over the wall to beat the keeper, although in my opinion the keeper should've done better..no worries..We kept cool and replied quickly with a goal.. Remy surprised their defence as he lobbed the ball to anas from a free kick in the middle of the park.. Aware of anas' run, it was too late for their defenders as anas was already one on one with the keeper, a Henry-like finish then followed, it went past the left hand side of the goalie..

It was a defensive mistake that lead to their second goal (nasib je ni..kasi chan).. Body miss judged a bounce and it was Fariq who stood behind him and instead of kicking it, he miss kicked it and the striker delighfuly ran with the ball and attempted a weak shot past the keeper's right hand.. (a fluke i'd say)..

The first half also saw some exchange of words between us (wan and izmir, cayalah izmir! straight into the action) and 'the Macha'..Aku tension ngan dia nih, asyik2 dia je yg gaduh, takde org lain lah! I wouldn't entirely throw the blame on him, maybe he just hasn't had that enough attention at home with his mom.. I dunno what the fuck was the Macha thinking about.. Remember the last meeting? Nak gaduh ngan NAVIN! elok lah tu.. Macha bongok (bongok, mengikut dewan bahasa pustaka bererti; terlalu gemuk sehingga tidak dapat mengawal keseimbangan badan kerana tidak sepadan dengan ketinggian)..

Second half was a total domination from us.. the second goal came early.. from a throw in from zariq who spotted my run in the box.. i shrugged off a marker and gave a left foot looping cross to anas (gandingan adik beradik menyerlah..hehe..) anas beat all the towering defenders in the air and nod in our second goal..well done my brother, all of those years coaching you, i knew it wouldn't be wasted..haha..I came close to scoring the third with a shot from outside the box which went agonisingly wide (bilenye aku nak score nih).. Our third goal came from a set piece situation, after someone was brought down on the left flank, adnan took this chance to provide a wonderful cross to the unmarked man (somehow he always seem to be in a good position at a perfect time).. another headed goal by man.. We finally lead them, and to put icing on the cake, edwin was sent thru by my pass and ran a good 20 yards before releasing a thunderous shot which deflected the keeper's hand and went in the right hand post of the goal..

Highlight of the match: we went from a goal down to finish 2 goals up..well done, a true show of our character..never give up, stay positive..

Downside of the match: 'the Macha'..why macha why?? definitely a mood spoiler.. wish Navin was there with us today..

Quote of the match: "Onside! Onside!" lesson number one, a linesman shouldn't ever shout that! of course the ref thought he shouted 'offside' and denied us a fifth goal..

You know how we instinctively trying to avoid something that's coming to our face which seems like a danger.It is called 'reflex' but in FAiez Daud case:
'biasa la tuh,reflection!!!'

Oh ye...Pagi bile ntah berlaku satu konspirasi besar,'Hide the volleyball!'.Whoever responsible for it should just hang yourself.Dahla kantoi!Anyway,I had good time playing volleyball(lepas 2 minggu tunggu sbb ade je benda kaco!) and even woke up early(pegi kelas pon tak bangun!semangat nak mampos!!)But because of the damn conspiracy,I had a mind fatigue which is detrimental to my performance(reason besa ni aku kalah..!hahaha).Thanks anyway to Mynn,Dila,Helmi and our new friend Jin(oh yeah...there's no netball in Korea and 'sayur goreng' in Korea is called Kimchi[spellcheck!])

I had a strange a dream. I am an engineer of a huge a battleship(aku rasa ahhhh...) and somehow we are in the middle of a battle with the sound of explosions and cannons everywhere.I was sending out some instructions to my technicians while running around all over the place.But in the end,there was this biggest sound of explosions that rocks the ship hard that I had to hold onto to the wall to regain support.My technician said that the haul was breached and there's no way the ship will hold any longer(macam tau2 je aku!).Then my next instruction to them was to sound the alarm and evacuate all the passengers and crew(macam mana battleship aku tuh ade passenger aku pon x tau!mimpi la katakan...).At that point everyone was in total chaos and was running but amidst all the chaos(mcm cite Titanic la plak),there's this one girl that managed to bump on me and falls onto the floor but somehow I knew that she actually stole my watch and I quickly grabbed her hand and asked for my watch back politely.Can't remember the details cuz my memory a little bit fuzzy but I think I said something to her,gave her a kiss in the forehead and in the end I just let her go with my watch.Then I started running again and I was actually heading to the main bridge.I was alone in the bridge since the crew was all gone(penakut!!!).The funny thing was that I didn't panic at all.I sat on a desk,open my internet browser and was surfing through the soccernet website.There's this interesting article about Alexander Hleb(Arsenal player,ok) and (cite nih nak abis dah...)suddenly I heard this really annoying song(sbb lagu tuh cam merosakkan mood aku) and there I was trying to find the 'Winamp' icon but can't find it anywhere on the desktop sampai la aku terjaga!sial la...rupenye mmg komputer aku tgh pasang lagu tuh.tgh syok2 mimpi.I really want to know the end of that dream and who was that girl??I always forget the girl that I saw in my dream.bengang2.But still dreams are interesting.Especially when I'm an engineer for a battleship,KEWL!!!

I never knew that writing a blog can be exciting.Maybe I'm born to write and becomes a prolific author.Hmmmm...too late to think of that now since I'm still stuck at finishing my engineering degree.If only I...(the list will go on forever!).

Anyway, recently I've watched the so-called Romero's greatest masterpiece, 'LAND of THE DEAD'.It turns out to be not so great after all.I was expecting something to scare the hell out of me but thorughout the whole movie, I was just laughing my ass off!!!Trust me,the whole story was just so stupid and there's not even a single bit of a story line that you can come up with. The amount of gore that you'd expect from this genre of movies also dissapointed me.There's not enough blood!!!Also Since when did zombie have feelings and can think for themselves???(There's this really 'smart' zombie and his what-I-like-to-call his assistant.[watch out for the gal with the torn mouth!] which sort of like the main character).Some of the ridiculous things are:

- I don't know if anybody who seen this movie notice this but I think that the zombies gain speed gradually until it seems like the zombies are competing with Ato Boldon!

- Also near the end, instead of the zombies craving for people's meat,they look more like some crazy rapist (when it involves woman)

- Why didn't they just kill them off by slowly reducing their number to zero,instead they just kill em off when they needed food supply

- Where did the electricty for the fence came from anyway???There shouldn't be people outside the main city to take care off the power generator.I know I wouldn't wanna be out there!

- That scene where the lesbians was kissing and then grabbed by the zombies. Why lesbians???they could've just put some people watcing tv or something( I'm not homophobic anyway!)

- The zombies stupidly got trapped under the umbrella.It lasts for 15 seconds i think

- The zombie was ripping off somebody's piercing

- The big Samoan guys babbling about Samoa's affair,that wasted at least 3 minutes of my time(Oh but he's cool and he makes me laugh most of the times!)

- Finally, the best and should get the trophy(watch for this one!)is when that old guy (Kefflan sumthin) trying to act like a he's a cold blooded murderer but instead he makes the scene looks like a joke. ("Watch out!"...and then he shot the other guy, near the elevator)

- etcetera...there's too much and I'm just too lazy to write

Final verdict: Instead of a masterpiece,this is a dumbpiece and should be avoided at all cost(babi!!!membazir $5 aku je,baek aku makan McD.Romero should just die!Tgk cite PHSM lagi bagus). But if you want to laugh at how dumb this movie is,go ahead.Mac your day!That's how I enjoyed the movie...

1st half:

Fresh looks from everybody from the line-up(3-5-2) looks pretty convincing and they started out just fine. Brunei with their traditional 4-5-1 formation was looking quite strong but without their influential player, Keegan, we all saw a glimmer of chance for a victory.For the 1st 10 minutes, the way the teams played reminded me off how the Brazillian played where most of the ball possesions belongs to the Msian but after 10 minutes, the team looks a little bit shaky (ele...bebudak Msia nih,10 minit je dah start pancit,tuh la,berenti la isap rokok tuh woi!).The ball was going back and forth between both sides.Challenging headers was inevitable and there was a huge clash between the midfielders although most of the times, it was us Msian who managed carry out some promising attacks while the Bruneians,most of the times failed to produce anything that might seem like a threat( Adnan berasa bosan berada di gol).To brake the suffocating deadlock, Zariq was brought in to add some flare to the team and it was fruitful. After a brave darting run from him, with a close ball control inside the penalty box, their defence seems agitated and made a mistake to brought him down and without a doubt, the referee awarded us with a penalty.Anas stepped in to take the shot and it was and easy goal past the left hand side of the keeper,1-0 for Msia(yay!) and not long before that, the first half ended.

2nd half:

After a pep(camni ke eja die???) talk from the manager, the team was motivated and fresh legs was introduced to the field with a few changes to the positions. In came in our Mr. Reliable,Azman replacing Yunus to have a crack at the Bruneian's goal. Also, Haris, and our debutant for the day, Apit playing left wing to provide some options for attack.Adnan was brought forward to the midfield position and also a debutant,Terence came in as the new goalkeeper.Again, in the second half, the battle to control the middle field was fierce and also the Bruneians did came up with some brilliant attack but they always got frustrated by our defence thanks to the ultimate duo of Ansar and Hasfuan.(cayala!!!).Later in the game, Msia was given a corner kick and Apit took the role and sent in a confusing curve ball towards the advantage line near the 6-yard box.The target was Azman and although under a huge pressure from the back(aku nampak die tarik man sial!!!), he managed to head in the ball. 2-0 the scoreline and Msia now has a clear advantage. Another highlight of the second half was a rather suprising first-time shot from Adnan,few meters outside the penalty box), that hit the post(skit lagi sial!!!). A few minutes after that, a long ball from Adnan that doesn't look threatening at all and looks to me was unreachable did have some impact due to a determined run from Anas on the left-side of the field. The keeper felt unsecured and went to chase the ball(die ingat die laju...) and also there was a defender which also wen to get the ball while giving pressure to Anas and in the end he accidentally clashed with the goalkeeper outside the box and Anas took the oppotunity to snatch the ball away and gave a low cross to eagerly-watiting Azman in front of the goal and with the simplest of tap( pakai bontot pon bole masuk!!!), Azman got his 2nd and this was a sure-win situation for the Msian,but as a manager,I kept pushing the team to maintain their form and never lose guard and get overconfident.At this point of the game, I think, we have totally crushed the spirit of our opponents and it was totally relected by how unorganized their players were with reduced number of completed pass and in the end,they just kept loosing possesion of the ball.Msian did what supposed to be done and siezed the opportunity. A delightful lobbed ball by Amar got pass Apit's marker and using his bursting speed, he went straight into the penalty box until he's one-on-one with the keeper. With the face of nafsu-nak-merembat, he easily blaze in the ball to the back of the net(takde net pon!!!)Keeper had no chance of saving it and it was 4-0 and the goal definitely sealed the match with few minutes remaining on the clock.Few substitutes waiting at bench who was eager to get a goal urge me to bring them in( kalo dah menang tuh mula la smua sebok nak score,korang igt korang Cantona???) but when they got in, the match was finally over (hahahaha...body tak pegang bola pon.Masuk nak salam ngan pemaen je...) with our players exiting the field with satisfaction on their faces.Trully, a deserved win for the team.

Manager's comment:
Overall, a phenomenal performance by the team.The teamwork was just excellent.The defence was solid and hard to get through.The midfielders was creative in creating goal-scoring opporunities and the forwards was sharp on getting the ball.Special tribute to the keeper,Terence,WE WANT YOU MAN!!!(gaya ko diving save best sial...!).Some minor issues that need improvements:

-Strikers not taking chances at having a shot when they're outside the penalty box when they should (korang nih malu2 anjing la!!!rembat jela)

-Wingers dribbled too much when they are already at the end of the sideline.Quickly cross the ball! (korang gentel nak gi mana???Segambut,Kelang,Toowong,Indooropilly???)

But great effort everyone.Just can't wait for MASCA games!

seperti yg diketahui penduduk brisbane, pada 13 ogos, pasukan pelajar² malaysia telah membelasah dgn mudah pasukan pelajar² brunei (hahahhaha Tittttiiiiiiik!!!).. ye! ye! 4-0!!! kepuasan tahap cipan.. eversince i got here, this is our first win against them! and not to mention we trashed them..

Unbiased match repot : Malaysia made a slight change in their formation, applying the unconventional 3-5-2 (thanks to sedara khairul rahimi)..it worked briliantly..adnan started between the posts while wan, ansar and ron provided a massive fortress at the back.. yunus, remi, fariq and me was at the heart of the midfield..we opted to penetrate them thru the right wing as we have no natural left sided player (not yet, we dont heheh), so fariq was the only one lari² seblah kanan..utk mengelirukan pihak lawan, bahagian kiri dibiarkan kosong dgn selamba.. the newly formed partnership between anas and edwin lead the attack.. we started very well, settling down almost imediately..wan and ansar looked very solid failing every attack of the mighty Papz.. the first 20 minutes was goaless but it was evident that we were controlling the game, not even one shot on target by the bruneians at this stage.. fariq had a minor knock caused by who he claimed as lampard (pakai nombor seblas baju england).. so in came Zariq replacing him.. not long after that....PRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIT! (mana ade whistle pun sebenarnye)...ref pointed to the spot as Zariq was brought down by bobby, it was a clear cut penalty i'd say.. some smart guy had a great idea and asked the debuatant, anas, to take the shot.. anas malu² jawab.."eh boleh ke anas amik?".. so anas steps up unconfidently...and so was the penalty kick, but..............GOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!!!! a weak ball went pass the right side of the keeper eventho he managed to get a touch at it (how was that a weak kick..?).. but a goal to his name on his first game, couldn't ask for more.. bersyukurlah anas, kau beruntung dapat score muda² ni, time aku dulu mana ade score² ni.. we were pouring attacks on them, and i almost got a goal myself, only to be denied by my unselfishness (and lack of confidence)..heheh... anas gave a nicely weighted thru ball at the right side of the penalty area to me, i was clear but i decided to pass it back to anas instead, only to be intercepted by the defence..at this stage i thought that we should just hold on to that lead.. but the spirit of our team ..memang taknak kalah! so kept on piling up the pressure til half time.. half time malaysia 1 brunei 0..

half time saw a few changes.. WE HAVE A LEFT WING! yee yee..apit (bukan nama sebenar) and man entered replacing yunus and edwin respectively...we had more width..adnan played in midfield and the job of guarding the goal was taken by the ever cheerful terrance (mana mata terrance???)...hariz replaced ron, mohsin for anas, myself for body (taknak kalah).. at this time, tekalah sape linesman??? yeeee akuuuuu jugak.. tapi best, boleh observe the game dlm view yg lain..ko pun ikut lari bersama.. well, apit and man made an immediate impact as the two were involved in the second goal..from the right corner flag, apit sent a cross and man rose high (not that high laa) to easily head the ball into the empty net, from my view, it looked like it hit man's shoulder..i dunno..still questionable..but GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!!! 2-0!!!!!!!!!! i was clapping ala² manager je kat tepi padang sorang² coz i had no one to celebrate with.. the only people who there were the bruneian girls supporters.. so cam kena control macho skit ah...great debut by apit so far.. i bet we all felt a bit relieved after that goal..no more pressure!!! maka aku pun masuk laaa..heheh..aku suka main tgh² takde pressure nih.. adnan had a shot denied by the post and apit shoud've done better with a shot/cross on the left hand side.. the third goal was a mistake by the bruneian keeper.. after watching footage of ronaldo beating 10 players at a time, he decided he should have a go at anas.. well mate, nice idea awesome effort but apalling execution..anas stole the ball from him at the left side of the goal..ape lagi!!! shooooot aaah..tapi seperti abangnye yg tak tamak, anas crossed the ball to man..man did a well impersonation of a 'van nistelrooy' tap into the open goal to add the third for malaysia..GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAL!!!gogogogogooooooal!! huhuhuhuhuh.. tittttttttttttttiiiiiiiiiiik, aku melalak! haha..puas puas.. the game was almost over by now, just before the ref ended the game, i got the ball in the center circle, apit made an expected run down the left, ape lagiii..tiba² darah fabregas menyusul..i chipped the ball over apit's marker...apit outpaced him to bring the ball inside the penalty area where he faced the keeper..and guess what????? GOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!!! nice finish by apit...that was virtually the last kick of the game! wooohooo! sempat aku assist satu goal..thank you fabregas!

overall, we did well, aku puas hati dgn performance, we were much cooler on the ball compared to previous games..game kitorang pun dah nampak pattern dah skit²..credit to all the players who played very well, kitorang dah pandai tolong² teammates tau..haaaaaa.. passed well indeed.. but i hope we wont be too complacent with the result..there are stronger opponents out there guys, but a terrific start for the preparation to MASCA Games!! KEPUASAN!!! aku happy je pas game tu..kalau laa hari² bole belasah brunei camni, happy gile hidup aku...best best best!

special thanks to : Mr. Mat Pin selaku acting manager pada hari tu (altho the outfit was totally unnecessary..really..dia ingat theme hari tu 'pakai poyo²' agaknye..)..para penyokong yg turut hadir !

Today was one of the day when you're expecting something good to happen but 'benda sial' came flying and landed on my face.Start with the 'most welcomed' warning that FArid gave me about Bernadette@Bernie telling him about an unknown car parked inside the building(aku la yg park tuh).Gile sial!!!How did the hell did she know about that???It was like the first time I've parked a car inside the building.Before this I think she warned us about car parked at the visitor's carpark too long.


That's why I decided to park the car inside.Dalam tak boleh,luar tak boleh,abih aku nak Parking kat mana???On her damn lawn!Dah la mmg tempat parking for unit 21 asyik ade kereta je.Aku tau CRV die mesti ade nye.In a futile attempt,I went down to the basement carpark to take a shot at the culprit(CRV die la!).But frustratingly,it was not there!(dan dan la die parking kereta tuh kat luar,mcm tau2 je aku nak amik gambar kereta die).Tak puas hati gak,I took my 'Ducati' and parked right in the middle of my rightfully owned car park(biar die rasa).Bukan itu sahaja,today was also the day when she gave out a list of 'Rules and Regulation' for the building and guess what?She mentioned about the car park among other things.I feel really honoured because she went to all the trouble typing and printing out the documents and also she went chasing up and down the building handing out the 'flyers' herself,to other units(i think there's around 30 units in this Square) just for me!Other rules include tidying up the balcony,which is also directly pointing back to my unit(alaaa semak skit je,aku rasa takde la terok sgt!).Bukannnye ade org nak tengok dalam balkoni aku pon.The house is already small enough to fit most our stuff that's why we resorted to put some of the stuff on the balcony.Sape sgt la nak tgk balkoni aku yg semak tuh.Rumah aku dah la tgkt atas sekali.The only way they can pinpoint the mess if they are flying inside a Helicopter!(I know Bernie would do that).I think she was given by God a sixth sense to detect any fault that we made(NATURAL BORN CAMBRIDGE SQUARE MANAGER).Arghhhhhhhhhhh aku stress sial dok sini!Kalah aku dok asrama.Aku rasa warden kat asrama pon x terok camni.Bodo punye Pn Normah carikan tempat nih.I want to be FREE.Jiyuu ni hoshi na!!!From now on I want to be a FREEDOM FIGHTER(FF).Let's all join forces together to fight the FOrces of Evil! -MAPEN®-

Ok seblum korang ngantuk membaca, baik aku ubah subjek, BOLA!!! yeah that's what i love talking bout the most! (those lucky bunch of bastards! and they say rome wasn't built in a day..pfff..!) BUT, im confident of the new-look arsenal and i have faith in wenger, really² looking fwd to this season (kalaula aku ade kat m'sia skang ni)..GO GUNNERS!

This will be my first real post after the frustrating introduction which almost lead me to quit this blog(lagi sekali AMAR BODO!).Anyway, on to my life.Today I've just had my first experience of having the 'pleasure' of sipping a 'macchiato' which proves to be totally dissapointing and unpleasant memory(akan ku ingat hari ni).On normal En Mapen's day,he would've just have an ice mocha or just plain cappucino but today,En Mapen was trying to be creative and have a macchiato since the name was actually very interesting.With a smiling face(macam tau2 je aku dah tertipu!), the staff that made it handed me the surprisingly small paper cup,bout the height of my thumb.(terkejut sial aku,aku bayar $2.40 dapat kecik tuh je!)Although I was surprised,I just played dumb and took the cup to have a sit(bangga la konon minum macchiato).Tasting it was the next disaster(pahit sial!bodo punye omputih minum air pahit2 camni),and I can't handle it.Even after putting 2 packets of sugar, the taste was still thick.In the end, I only needed 2 'huge' gulp to finish the damn coffee(bodo gile,1 tegok = $1.20).Because of that also I ended up buying a carrot cake just to de'macchiato' myself(at least aku dapat at least 10 kunyahan seblom kek tu habis,1 kunyah = 20sen).Total cost = $4.40.
